An artist has imagined plants coming to life to reclaim New York City.

Nature-inspired Christophe Guinet AKA Monsieur Plant, created "The Walking Plant" installation to "contrast the urbanisation of the high buildings of Manathan and that of nature".

The Paris-born artist has placed his work on the Swale floating food forest, a barge that travels to piers in New York City.

Monsieur Plant explains: "The connotation of this project "The Walking Plant" is a nod to the series "The Walking Dead", as to say that nature has taken back its rights. The nature walks to the reconquest of the city!"
