The AM37, handcrafted in the UK by Quintessence Yachts, was unveiled at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, with prices starting at £1,260,720 ($1,635,847). The owner of the first production model, who will berth their prize vessel in Miami, will have likely paid more than the ticket price thanks after taking up the option to access the ‘Q by Aston Martin’ personalisation service. "The owner truly tailored his boat," say Quintessence. "Aston Martin designers helped translate preferred materials, colours and textures into key elements of the powerboat. The result is a stunning Mako Blue hull and an interior swathed in Baltic Blue and Cream Truffle upholstery with flashes of chrome. Other features include a convertible sofa, matt Lacewood table and a special version of the champagne cooler finished in Baltic Blue carbon fibre." The 37-foot Aston Martin AM37 powerboat made its world debut at the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, marking Aston Martin's entry into the nautical world. The new day-cruiser is offered in two versions with the AM37S expected to reach speeds of 50 knots. The AM37 is the result of two years of research and development, challenging the status quo of the nautical world and combining the best in innovative technology and bespoke craftsmanship. The AM37 was a true team effort, bringing in the most experienced Aston Martin designers to style and create a truly unique product. Aston Martin’s master craftsmen who worked on cars such as One-77, Aston Martin Vulcan and the new DB11, provided their automotive experience, which was reinterpreted onto the boat with outstanding results.
