Headline: Collapsible Caravan

Caption: ***VIDEO AVAILABLE: dean.murray@cover-images.com This incredible caravan can triple its size. The Beauer 3X may look small but is designed for a family of four and can convert to full length in just twenty seconds. Requiring nothing beyond the turn of a key, the area inside expands to 12m² from 4m² thanks to telescopic modules. Once opened, all the necessary comforts are available, including a 130 litre fridge, double gas burner, sink, shower, sink and storage space. The patented design is towed behind a car as normal, and will come in a choice of colour. Inventor Eric Beauer, owner of French company BeauER, says the £21,500 caravan will go on sale later this year and will feature at the Paris Fair in May. Those perhaps worried about feeling the squeeze when inside can rest easy. Eric says: "To close the caravan you have to turn a key. If you stop turning the key, the caravan stops. Moreover, if the caravan has an obstacle during the closing then it also stops."
